Dr. James H. Meyers received a B.S. degree in Cardio-Pulmonary Science from Boston University and a D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He received his certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontics from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. Dr. Meyers served as Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from 1989-1996. He maintains a hospital appointment at UPMC Shadyside, and is presently in full time private practice. Dr. Meyers is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Along with the treatment of periodontal disease his special interests include cosmetic periodontal surgery and the surgical placement of dental implants.
Dr. Jeffrey S. Manning received a dual degree in business administration and chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his D.M.D. training and received a certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in periodontics from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. During his training, Dr. Manning was awarded a clinical research award from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists for excellence in the field of periodontics. He also received the O. Jack Penhall Clinical Research Award for his work with tissue regeneration and dental implants. In addition to private practice, Dr. Manning works as a part-time clinical professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh.
